15+ years of experience in Application Development, IT Project Management, and Enterprise Architecture with domain expertise in Telecoms' Self Service Portals, eGovernments Portal and Real Estate/Free Zones CRM and Customer Portals.

In October 2011, Wael was promoted to be the Director of Applications/Value Added Services for Group IT/TECOM Investments, a member of Dubai Holding. Wael is leading a team of consultants and senior consultants delivering business solutions for TECOM business parks and Dubai Holding entities. The business solutions provided are written in APEX and hosted on Force.com cloud platform. Other locally-hosted applications written in .NET, J2EE, MS SharePoint and Objective C for iPhone.

From Oct 2009 to Oct 2011, Wael worked as the Principal Consultant/Value Added Services for Group IT/TECOM Investments.

From Mar 2007 to Oct 2009, Wael worked as the Head of Enterprise Architecture for Group IT/Dubai Holding. Wael and the team supported the mergers, acquisitions and restructure activities within Dubai Holding subsidiaries and helped in aligning the IT strategy with the overall business strategy of Dubai Holding and its business entities. 

During his work in Etisalat UAE (From Nov 2000 to Mar 2007), Wael has delivered many self service portal applications and worked as the technical leader for the team responsible of applications integration and eServices development of the UAE Federal eGovernment Portal project (2005-2007).
